About Project

I-BISA is a community-based cervical cancer screening pilot that introduces HPV DNA self-sampling, enabling women to collect samples independently, in a more private and convenient way.

The program relies on trusted community cadres to identify eligible women, provide education, and drive participation in 27 Kelurahan across West Jakarta, Depok, and Lebak.

This project successfully reached its target of 5700 women completing self-sampling, while generating practical implementation learning to inform future scale up.
