About Project

Jalin Foundation, supported by the Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs, collaborated with the Directorate of Health Promotion of the Ministry of Health on COVID-19 vaccination efforts. The objective was to accelerate widespread and equitable access to and delivery of safe and effective COVID-19 vaccinations. Jalin worked at the national and sub-national levels, engaging among other things in the following activities:

Implemented the SIAP (Semangat Dapat Vaksinasi Lengkap) national media campaign, utilizing TV, radio, social media, print, and billboards to encourage the public to complete the vaccinations.
Conducted SIAP Community engagement in five priority provinces, mobilizing communities for vaccination, developing social and behavior change (SBC) materials, and providing training for volunteers and health personnel.
Executed a digital campaign targeting pharmacy professionals.
Undertook formative research to understand vaccine hesitancy among the unvaccinated. • Conducted monitoring and evaluation to assess the impact and reach of these activities.
