The Meatless Monday Indonesia (MMI) Movement dedicates Monday to human health and a sustainable planet. The movement is part of the Meatless Monday Initiative introduced in 2003 by the Johns Hopkins Center for a Livable Future (CLF) and has been running in more than 40 countries in 22 languages.
Since 2013, the Family Planning team of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) has invested in MyChoice (PilihanKu) project in Indonesia. Led by the Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs (JHCCP), MyChoice was implemented in close collaboration with BKKBN to strengthen BKKBN’s capacity to manage and implement the family planning (FP) program from the central to the sub-district levels.

Multiple Micronutrient Supplementations (MMS) is a continuation of the Iron-Folic Acid (IFA) program, better known in Indonesia as the Iron Supplement Tablet (Tablet Tambah Darah - TTD). MMS targets explicitly pregnant women so that they will have better pregnancy outcomes and give birth to healthier babies. MMS has been proven to improve a woman’s nutritional status and is able to reduce the risk of preterm birth, stillbirth, low birth weight, and stunting better than IFA.
