Jakarta, July 19, 2025 – The RAW Movement (Resilient, Awesome, Wise) was officially launched as a social initiative designed to support teenage boys in Jakarta in building inner strength. More than just a name, RAW is a symbol of a movement that reflects the voices, values, and aspirations of the younger generation.

The launch was marked by the introduction of its flagship program titled “Warkop RAWvolution,” a movement that utilizes the familiar setting of a warkop (coffee stall) as a meeting point for ideas, discussions, and the exchange of experiences among teenagers. With an inclusive approach that is closely connected to everyday life, Warkop RAWvolution is expected to become a platform for expressing creative ideas and strengthening self-confidence among youth.

Also present at the launch was Jovial da Lopez, a content creator and inspirational figure who is well connected with the younger generation. He shared his experiences, tips, and inspirational messages on how to make the most of youth in an authentic and productive way.

“The RAW Movement is not about being perfect, but about having the courage to start and continue growing. Youth is a phase of exploration—falling, learning, and growing. The most important thing is to never be afraid to be yourself for something positive,”
said Jovi.

Meanwhile, a representative from Jalin Foundation, the initiator of the RAW Movement, emphasized that this movement is here to create a long-term and collective positive impact.

“RAW is a collective movement that grows from the voices and needs of young people. We want to ensure that they have a safe and inclusive space to recognize, express, and celebrate themselves,”
said Dian Rosdiana, Executive Director of Jalin Foundation.

The involvement of young people from the very beginning has been the main foundation of the RAW Movement, including in formulating its name, values, and strategic direction that reflect their voices and needs, making it truly a representation of them, by them, and for them.

One youth representative shared his reflection:

“The process of creating RAW made me realize that our ideas can become a real movement. This is not just about us—it’s about all teenagers who are still searching for direction and finally have a place to grow together,” said Rayyan, representative of RAWGer.

Moving forward, the RAW Movement will continue its mission through various community activations, educational content on social media, and collaborations with different parties that share a similar vision. With the spirit of “from youth, by youth, for youth,” RAW invites all young people in Jakarta to join the movement, grow, and spread positive messages within their communities.
